Questions
Poway patio cover questions
Shade, permits, and what this guide will not design.
This is an independent referral guide. It connects homeowners with independent providers and may receive compensation. It is not a licensed contractor and it does not do the work.
These answers are not a building permit.
Is this the cover company?
No. It is a referral guide and may be paid for an introduction. It does not build covers.
Are shade sails part of this guide?
No. The pages are about permanent covers.
Does every cover need a permit?
Treat an attached cover as a permit question until Poway tells you otherwise. A structure with posts and a roof is not patio furniture.
Why no price?
Span, roof type, electric fans or lights, and footing access change the job.
Is eastern Poway a fire area?
Much of the open space edge is. Do not assume your tract is or is not. Ask when the cover is near the wildland side.
What number do I call or text?
Call or text (602) 767-0428.
